Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the technical team and stakeholders to define, refine, and publish tests.
• Work with management to plan and implement strategic improvements in our business and technology processes.
• Participate and contribute to both business and tech roadmaps.
• Document technical processes and systems involved.
• Test & propose tooling utilized for test automation, development, front end and backend improvements, and other areas as needed.
• Attend daily standups, discussing your previous day’s achievements, your current day’s plans, and any roadblocks or dependencies that the team can help you with.
• Be open to learning new things, and be open to teaching others.
• Strategize growth of the team, and how to train and lead new team members

Requirements & Qualifications

• A relevant degree (computer science, software engineering, IT systems, MIS systems, etc.) or significant professional hands-on experience with test automation.
• Advanced understanding of agile development processes and highly scalable front end / back end design.
• Experience with the following: databases (mysql, postgres, SQL server, oracle, or other comparable systems), web backend technologies (nodejs, rails, phoenix, .net core, or other comparable frameworks), mobile application development (native, flutter, react native, etc.), web front end technologies (react, angular, vue, nextjs, etc.), test frameworks & tools (selenium, cucumber, rspec, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies
• Demonstrated ability to drive success in a team environment
