Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of one or more systems, roadmap projects, and/or proof-of-concept initiatives, striving to deliver cost-effective, maintainable and effective solutions, as a developer, QA, devops, etc. (will depend on your knowledge and our need aligning).
• Work with a senior mentor to align your approach with the business expectations.
• Ask questions, never be afraid to ask anything from your team.
• Attend daily standups, discussing your previous day’s achievements, your current day’s plans, and any roadblocks or dependencies that your team can help you with.
• Be open to learning new things, and be open to teaching your learnings to others when they are relevant to the wider team.

Requirements & Qualifications

• In school studying an applicable and relevant degree (computer science, software engineering, IT systems, MIS systems, etc.) or a very recent graduate (with the last 3 months).
• Baseline understanding of (and experience at least in some of your school projects with) one or more of the following: databases (mysql, postgres, SQL server, oracle), web backend technologies (nodejs, rails, phoenix, .net core), mobile application development (native, flutter, react native, etc.), web front end technologies (react, angular, vue, nextjs), cicd / infrastructure (jenkins, ansible, docker, kubernetes, sst, terraform, aws console / cli, git).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve success in a team environment.
• Have been part of projects or programmes in school that are related to Tech Development.
