As Country Manager for Vietnam, you will be a key player in the company’s aggressive expansion strategy. This position demands a leader who is passionate about the motorcycle industry, has a deep understanding of the retail and e-commerce landscape, and can drive both growth and operational excellence in a fastpaced startup environment. You will be responsible for spearheading sales, marketing, and customer success strategies across the country, ensuring the business reaches its targets while maintaining the integrity and culture of the brand. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the country-specific strategy for sales, marketing, and retail operations that aligns with the company’s overall mission and vision.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and regional leadership to ensure alignment on business objectives and drive key initiatives across the country.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including sales growth, market share, customer engagement, and profitability.
Team Management & Development
- Build, recruit, and manage a high-performance team of country-specific sales, marketing, and customer support staff.
- Oversee the training and development of staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to succeed.
- Foster a strong company culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and accountability within the country’s operations.
Retail Operations Management
- Build, recruit, and manage a high-performance team of country-specific sales, marketing, and customer support staff.
- Oversee the training and development of staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to succeed.
- Foster a strong company culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and accountability within the country’s operations.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive revenue and market penetration within the country.
- Research and analyze the competitive landscape, identifying market trends and emerging opportunities for growth in both the retail and online space.
- Develop localized marketing and sales strategies that cater to the unique needs of motorcycle enthusiasts, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure that iMotorbike continues to deliver exceptional customer service across all touchpoints, including online, in-app, and retail.
- Cultivate relationships with key customers, influencers, and motorcycle communities to foster brand loyalty and drive repeat business.
- Implement strategies to manage customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Brand & Marketing Strategy
- Design and implement brand-building initiatives, ensuring the brand’s positioning resonates strongly with local audiences and reflects the company’s values.
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including paid ads, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust tactics based on performance data.
Financial & Budgetary Oversight
- Own the country’s P&L, ensuring the business operates within budget and meets revenue targets.
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including paid ads, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media.
- Work with the finance team to set realistic sales forecasts, monitor spending, and identify areas for financial improvement.
Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Additional qualifications in sales, finance, or similar fields are a plus.
Industry Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior management position, preferably in ecommerce, online retail, or motorcycle sales.
- Experience with online startups or marketplaces is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the retail and e-commerce landscape in Southeast Asia, particularly in motorcycle and automotive sectors.
