Work with a tightly knit dedicated team of software engineers across Southeast Asia to build, test, and deploy our customer facing systems, back office tools, and innovative middleware. What Your Day Could Consist Of:

• Work with stakeholders and team members to design and implement features and enhancement, translating requirements, code review and deployment to production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Provide constructive feedback and technical preview for the non-technical members of the organization.
• Document technical processes and systems as they are implemented, both from user (if needed) and maintainer perspectives.
• Able to work independently when required.
• Attend daily standups, provide status updates, discussing your previous day’s achievements, your current day’s plans, and any roadblocks or dependencies that the team can help you with.
• Able to complete tasks on time.
• Be open to learning new things, and be open to teaching others.

You are a strong fit it: 

• A relevant Degree or Masters (Computer Science, software engineering, IT systems, etc.). Self-learnt programmers are encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of agile processes, but with an eye to adjust processes to better achieve results.
• Mastered at least one modern programming language – Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Elixir, NodeJS
• Passionate about solving problems in a quick paced startup environment.
• Experience with using and maintaining MySql and Postgres.
• Knowledge and development experience in at least one of the modern web frameworks. (Next.js, Ruby On Rails, Phoenix, Django, Laravel)
• You can ship features with testing confidently and at ease. This includes REST api / GraphQL and other backend features, like scrapping etc.
• You have worked in at least 1 cloud architecture – AWS, Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Linux is a MUST
